Hi there…..semengat Gawai semampai berlegar-legar ngelingi aku diatu. I know its still too early for me to wish anyone "Selamat Gawai Dayak" but I just can't help it, as the spirit of Gawai keep haunting me day and night…..he..he…

Anyway, engka aku nyu overlooked ka meri selamat agai semua my precious friends….diatu aku ka meri Selamat Hari Gawai Dayak 2006, Gayu Guru, Gerai Nyamai; Chelap Lindap Nguan Menoa; Bulih Betuah Belimpah Ari Pun Datai Ke Belama; Enda Sakit, Enda Lengit; Panjai Umur, Enda Tendur; Beranak Betelesak Serata Menoa Menuh Ka Dunya….

Hmmm…aku plan pulai ke menoa 25/05/06 tu. Udah nya pulai kerja baru kena 12/05/06 nyin ila. Pandak aja pemisi, tang apa boleh buat meh, dah adat ngiga pemakai ba menoa orang. Tat ka aja meh, yang penting ulih pulai ke menoa diri empu. Mina sinu mimit Gawai taun tu laban not the whole family be home for Gawai. Bala menyadi ke bukai nda ulih pulai laban ke bisi penanggol ke enda ulih diseliahka. Arap ka ulih betemu ngau sida maya Krismas ila meh. And I want to wish my beloved brothers and sisters a Happy Gawai Dayak mega meh. May God bless them always.

Ngagai bala raban former RD, akumeri selamat Gawai agai kita mega. Especially my dear friends/bro BE, BEL, Silmido, Mith, Val, Van, LH..(i'm glad to know u guys)..errr who else arrr… Enggau pesan rindu-rindu meh selalu…anang manchal maya Gawai…kita ke nadai orang ngempu giga meh tipak diri empu anang aja ngachau laki/bini orang…kita ke udah bisi orang ngempu diau diri aja meh ngelila ka orang au…nagang diri maya ngirup ai bisa…dont drink and drive…ingatlah orang tersayang…berhati-hati di jalan raya…majulah Gawai untuk negara…chewahhhhh!!!!

p/s – nti sema kitai ulih berundang ngabang agai pangan diri nyamai ndar. Tang takut mimit aku ka ngabang laban ke enda nemu enggau orang ngirup ai bisa. Sigi nda ngirup ga aku tu…

ATM Warning

Bank ATM's Converted to Steal IDs of Bank Customers

A team of organized criminals are installing equipment on legitimate bank ATM's in at least 2 regions to steal both the ATM card number and the PIN. The team sits nearby in a car receiving the information transmitted wirelessly over weekends and evenings from equipment they install on the front of the ATM (see photos). If you see an attachment like this, do not use the ATM and report it immediately to the bank using the phone on the front of the ATM. The equipment used to capture your ATM card number and PIN are cleverly disguised to look like normal ATM equipment. A "skimmer" is mounted to the front of the normal ATM card slot that reads the ATM card number and transmits it to the criminals sitting in a nearby car.At the same time, a wireless camera is disguised to look like a leaflet holder and is mounted in a position to view ATM PIN entries.The thieves copy the cards and use the PIN numbers to withdraw thousands from many accounts in a very short time directly from the bank ATM.

THE DA VINCI CODE: FACT OR FICTION?

What is The Da Vinci Code?

 The Da Vinci Code is a novel. Its publisher, Doubleday, released it with much dan dare in March 2003 and heavily promoted it. As a result, it debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and has remained on it since, selling millions of copies. The publisher claims that it is “the bestselling adult novel of all time within a one-year period.” 

So popular has The Da Vinci Code become that it has created a marketing room for books related to the novel, and it has become the subject of a major motion picture scheduled to be released on May 18, 2006. 

What is The Da Vinci Code About?

It is a thriller story involving secret societies, conspiracies, the Catholic Church and the fictional “truth” about Jesus Christ. Here is the author’s own summary:

             A renowned Harvard symbologist is summoned to the Louvre Museum to examine a series of cryptic symbols relating to Da Vinci’s artwork. In decrypting the code, he uncovers the key to one of the greatest mysteries of all time, and he becomes a hunted man. During the course of the novel it is alleged that the Catholic Church is perpetuating a major, centuries-long conspiracy to hide the “truth” about Jesus Christ from the public, and itor its agents are willing to stop at nothing, including murder, to do so. 

Why should a Christian be concerned about the novel?

Although a work of fiction, the book claims to be meticulously researched, and it goes to great lengths to convey the impression that it is based on fact. It even has a “fact” page at the front of the book underscoring the claim of factuality for particular ideas within the book. As a result, many readers – christians are taking the book’s ideas seriously.

The problem is that many of the ideas that the book promotes are anything but fact, and they go directly to the heart of the Christian faith.

 For example, the book promotes these false ideas: 

• Jesus is not God; he was only a man.
• Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene.
• She is to be worhipped as a goddess.
• Jesus got her pregnant, and the two has a daughter.
• The daughter gave rise to a prominent family line that is still present in Europe today.
• The Bible was put together by a pagan Roman emperor.
• Jesus was viewed as a man and not as God until the fourth century, when he was deified by the emperor Constantine.
• The Gospels have been edited to support the claims of later Christians.
• In the original Gospels, Mary Magdalene rather than Peter was directed to establish the Church.
• There is a secret society known as the Priory of Zion that still worships Mary Magdalene as a goddess and is trying to keep the truth alive.

Christians should be concerned about the book because it not only misrepresents the church as a murderous institution but also implies that the Christian faith itself is utterly false. If the book’s claims were true, then all forms of Christianity would be false…thus Christians should be concerned about the book!!!

Tomorrow is saturday, the day after tommorrow is sunday and the day after that is public holiday (labour day)……ahhhhh…such a relieves!!! I'll make use of it for maximum relaxation period…..

Window shopping would be a good idea I presume…..got a lot of work to be done….tang nadai ngawa meh……perintah meri cuti…lalu aku ka cuti sepenuhnya. Tak kasi can punyer…

How nice it is if I'm in Sarawak now…..surely me and my friends will have a lots of programs to be done……wait for me Kapit….I'll be home for Gawai…..another 28 days to go…if I'm not miscalculated the days….he..he…

SENYUM 

Senyum merupakan salah satu tabiat manusia yang mempunyai maksud tersirat dan tujuan tertentu. Jika seseorang itu senyum sudah pasti dia dikatakan sedang mengalami sesuatu yang menggembirakan. Senyum juga merupakan satu sifat dan akhlak yang mulia. Namun kadangkala senyuman dilemparkan sebagai senjata untuk memikat sama ada lelaki atau perempuan. Ramai orang jatuh hati apabila tertarik kepada senyuman. Ada juga yang tersenyum sebagai menunjukkan reaksi sinis terhadap sesuatu yang pelik atau canggung.

How great thou art O Lord …..tu meh menoa asal aku……just whatever people say about Kapit…..remote area kah, mundur kah, jauh ari pembangunan kah, nadai nilai ekonomi kah…i dont give a damn……..to me Kapit is the best….ndang sigi nadai ndor bukai ke ulih ngait ati aku kelimpah ari Kapit….chewah…..

Small town indeed, however Kapit bisi ngembuan almost semua crucial facilities baka hospital, poliklinik, kompleks sukan, sekula, balai polis, balai bomba, gereja, masjid, surau, opis perintah, library, kawasan perumahan ngau utai ke bukai…….nda alah sebut ditu….

 Friendly peoples, multi racials community, multi culture, low crime rates, variety of local cuisines etc…. you name it…..we have it there in Kapit….. Aram kitai agai market…

Tu meh Market Teresang where you can get all sorts of exotic local jungle products. You name it…you'll get it there….that's an assurance!!!

Tetengok ka nyeput ensabi, daun rampu, daun mendai, upa pantu, upa aping, tubu ba Market Teresang…..

This wet market is rather convenient to you….easy access, got fresh meat parlour and endor nyaul kue…mayoh macam kue bisi dia…..and also got people ke nyual barang home made product baka perengka ngepan Iban (bungai murun, selampai, tango, sugu tinggi, kain kebat etc…). Hmmmm…..bisi mega ruang ndor orang nyual dried products baka pusu, undai rangkai, pickles, kasam babi (nyamai amat), salai babi (hey…I'm talking about wild boar tu…ukai babi cina…babi cina is one thing….ngau utai ke bukai…

Hmmm…tu meh gambar market ke bisi nyual dagin babi….sepiak taipikong cina…..
